It took some time... but finaly the Slideboom plugin is available for Joomla 1.6.

Upgraded the plugin to generate the latest embedded code from Slideboom.com. This also makes the plugin IE8 compatible.

Thanks to Tim Davis for pointing it out!

Unfortunately slideboom.com deprecated auto start and loop settings for the free version which means that these are deprecated for the plugin as well.
It is not necessary to remove the s= and r= parameters from your articles.
